Why do I want to teach?
I am a level two student in the education program at Utah State University. I have decided to go into education because I have a desire to influence children to be motivated to be anything they want. I want to help them grow in their fullest capacities and become the leaders of tomorrow. I hope to build unity in my classroom and students who learn from experiences and develop their own beliefs about who they are and not what others tell them. I want them to be strong and ready to handle the real world. I am excited to teach them the curriculum and do well on exams. I would like to see them all have a positive attitude about school and a potential career. I love seeing kids grow into something they never imagined and understand concepts they never thought they could. I hope to be able to understand them and learn how to best fit the needs of each child as best I can. I know I will not be perfect, but I do know that I will do what I can each day to help my students believe in themselves and learn something new that will increase their intellect.
